Illustration, scultpture, sounds and words
Simultaneously organic and inorganic, what emerges from my pieces often manifests the in-between; a state of transformation and buoyancy. I encourage a set of constraints and random factors, deconstructing, re-assembling, creating rules and using errors to “grow” a piece very much as if it had its own genetic code with its own properties and behaviour. What results can feel like a hybrid of shape, meaning or expression, reflecting the sum of its parts into a new whole.
